Proceq GPR Live
Proceq-GPR Proceq GPR Live Portable ground penetrating radar solution
Proceq GPR Live is the beginning of a new era in NDT. The outstanding and patented ultra wideband technology combined with a compact wireless scan car delivers unmatched GPR Performance. Just connect to your iPad and detect objects and the backwall of a structure with clarity and deep penetration.
Pioneering ultra wideban
The Proceq GPR utilizes ultra-wideband technology which enables high resolution scanning to a maximum depth of 700mm. All applications typically addressed with multiple antennas can now be covered with one single device with a frequency range of 0.2 to 4.0 GHz.
Optimised frequency range and high antenna gain
The majority of GPR systems utilize time domain data acquisition to gather a data set. This limits the result to a specific penetration depth and resolution as defined by the antennas central frequency. Such solutions also have limitations in terms of detectable object size.
The Proceq GPR utilizes a modulated array antenna to allow detailed high resolution data sets to be collected across a wide bandwidth. The result is a Stepped Frequency Continuous Wave to which covers a wide range of frequencies with a single device. The final view is similar to standard time-domain GPR systems but it undergoes frequency domain data acquisition. This process begins by determining a frequency range to convert to time-domain using an inverse Fourier transform. A combination of methods for background noise subtraction are utilitized to minimize the loss of data quality.
The final result is a defined profile of frequency range with positive gain as displayed below.
A very defined profile can be seen on this realistic setup, centered on 2.25 GHz with a net component between 0.6 and 3.9 GHz, immune to lower and higher frequencies noise effects.
Real-time data collection options
Data is collected in real-time and the user can switch seamlessly between standard non-migrated scan to the intuitive migrated Heatmap. It is possible to label the scan with the type of target, depth and location which leads to seamless reporting. The Proceq GPR has been built with the intention of enabling all reporting to be completed on-site to reduce time consuming post-processing.
Compact and wireless
The GPR probe is built into a lightweight and robust housing which is easily manoeuvrable. The probe operates with standard chargeable AA batteries to guarantee easy battery replacements.
The GPR probe connects wirelessly to an Apple iPad (touchscreen up to 12.9with iPad Pro) utilizing the Proceq Live webtool to enable real-time data analysis and sharing. This also enables open source software for constant development of new features with the Proceq GPR Pro Live.
There are several handling configurations including mouting the iPad directly to the probe, using a telescoping rod or mounting the iPad on a tripod. The probe is completely independent and has a wireless range of up to 20m.
Note: Apple iPad is not included with purchase of the Proceq GPR.
Proceq GPR Live Video
LogbookLogbook
The Proceq GPR Pro Live comes with Logbook which is a Professional tool for tracking all steps in the image processing. All gain and filter settings used are logged and included along with the scan. Measurements and changes are also tracked.
Comments, audio notes, pictures and geolocation can be added to the scan which provides an intuitive base for quick and detailed reporting to the client.
